Angels.Partners.
How angels and limited partners take part in Safa Global, and how to start a conversation.
The strategy
One portfolio. Two doors.
The thirteen companies sit in one portfolio, the Excellence Fund. Safa Global Ventures, in Mexico, is its general partner and puts its own capital in the same companies. Safa Global Capital, the Malta fund in formation, will invest in it as a limited partner and hold its own real estate and commodities. Angels and limited partners come in through either door, or both.
01
You choose a door.
Safa Global Ventures today, Safa Global Capital once it is structured, or both.
02
Capital goes into companies.
The general partner invests in the same companies it asks its partners to back.
03
Someone independent checks.
The Safa Global Foundation appoints the auditors and the adviser, and never audits itself.
04
You see everything.
Every investment and transfer is reported to partners. Capital goes where the documents say it goes.
How you take part
Two ways in. Same side of the table.
Angels
Back the group early.
Individuals who back Safa Global Ventures at the start. Founding partners sign today, by personal invitation, a SAFE-on-Wakalah with the founder personally: convertible, agency-based, with no interest and no guaranteed return. It transfers to Safa Global Ventures, S.A.P.I. de C.V. on its formation, and the capital goes to work in the company.
Limited partners
Commit alongside us.
Families, family offices and institutions that commit capital alongside the general partner: the whole portfolio, a single sector or a single company, with co-investment in selected rounds. Through Safa Global Ventures today, and through Safa Global Capital once the Malta fund is structured.
